# Missions Boosts on Earth - Player Guide

Match the Moods, Landforms, Likes, and Dislikes of your Bees to take advantage of Mission Boosts. This can really impact your results.

### **Matching Moods**

Moods are randomly assigned when a Queen or Bee is [Bred](/honeyland-player-guides-docs/the-game/general-player-guides/breeding-with-worker-bees-player-guide.md) or [Hatched](/honeyland-player-guides-docs/the-game/universe-1-earth/player-guides/hatching-earth-eggs-player-guide.md). You can't change the mood of a male Bee. A Queen's mood will change when she Breeds without Mood Stabilizer and when applying Legendary Queen [upgrades](/honeyland-player-guides-docs/the-game/universe-1-earth/player-guides/shards-items-and-upgrades-on-earth-player-guide.md).

#### **Queens**

Matching your Queen's Mood to the Mood of the Bees you send on a mission provides a percentage stat boost. It improves your Bee’s base stats depending on the mission type.

When your Bee’s Mood matches your Queen’s Mood:

* Your Bee’s base [Luck](/honeyland-player-guides-docs/the-game/general-player-guides/bee-stats-and-traits-player-guide.md) stat will be boosted which is useful for Hunting missions
* Your Bee’s base Agility and Capacity [stats](/honeyland-player-guides-docs/the-game/general-player-guides/bee-stats-and-traits-player-guide.md) will be boosted which is useful for Harvesting missions
* Your Bee's base stats gets a percentage bonus for Health, Attack, Defense, Agility and Luck which gives an edge in both offensive raiding and defending your hive from attacks

The percentage of boost you receive is based on the Queen's Level and Generation. The boost is calculated from the Queen's current stat.

**When Hunting and Harvesting, the effectiveness of the Queen boost is impacted by the Generation of the male Bee receiving the boost.**

**In the chart below:**

* Genesis, Gen1 and Training male Bees receive 100% of the stat benefits
* Gen 2 male Bees receive 70%
* Gen 3 male Bees receive 40%

**EXAMPLE - A Level 15 Gen 1 Queen will provide:**

* 30% boost to a Gen 1 male Bee
* 21% boost to a Gen 2 male Bee
* 12% boost to a Gen 3 male Bee

#### **Bees**

Matching your Bee’s Mood to other Bees on the same mission grants an extra boost to their performance during the mission.

**NOTE:** This boost is in addition to any boost for matching the Queen's mood

| **Mood Match** | **Boost** |
| -------------- | --------- |
| 2 Bees         | 5%        |
| 3 + Bees       | 15%       |

### **Matching Landform Speciality:**

#### **Hunting and Harvesting**

Matching your Bee's Landform Specialty to the landform you are on provides a percentage boost which increases your Bee's performance during the mission.

**Example:** If your Bee has a Meadow Landform Specialty and you send it to Harvest on a Meadow Land, your Bee receives a 75% boost to his Agility stat during that mission. Sending the same Bee to Hunt on that Land would boost his Luck stat by 75% for the duration of that mission.

**NOTE:** Your Bee can receive either a Landform Match boost or a Paradise Maker boost, but not both at the same time

#### PvP

Depending on Landform Specialty, a Bee’s Attack stat can increase, decrease, or stay the same during a [PvP](/honeyland-player-guides-docs/the-game/general-player-guides/pvp-attack-defend-player-guide.md) Mission. Pay close attention to the Landform Specialty of all Bees during PvP to take advantage!

**EXCEPTION:** None speciality has no advantage or disadvantage

|              | **Attack Stat Boost** | **Against** | **Attack Stat Reduction** | **Against** |
| ------------ | --------------------- | ----------- | ------------------------- | ----------- |
| **Woodland** | 30%                   | Summit      | 30%                       | Desert      |
| **Summit**   | 30%                   | Desert      | 30%                       | Woodland    |
| **Desert**   | 30%                   | Woodland    | 30%                       | Summit      |
| **Seaside**  | 50%                   | Meadow      | -                         | -           |
| **Meadow**   | 50%                   | Seaside     | -                         | -           |
| **None**     | -                     | -           | -                         | -           |
