# FAQs
How can I earn $HXD in the game?
You can earn $HXD by:
* Completing Harvest missions
* Winning PvP Raids
* Participating in Explore Missions and Siege Battles
* Ranking in the Leaderboards
* Selling Bees or assets on the marketplace
What's the benefit of upgrading my bees?
Upgrading Bees increases their stats (like Endurance, Luck, Recovery, etc.), which improves mission performance, reduces cooldowns, and increases your earnings and success rates.
What is Wax? What is Wax used for?
**What is Wax?**
* Wax is an in-game currency used for paying Solana blockchain fees when Breeding or creating an Egg from shards
* Wax is only purchasable through Honeyland
* Wax can not be traded or transferred
You will need to purchase Wax using USDC, your Credit Card, or your Google Pay/Apple Pay account.
Hold Wax in your game wallet in order to Breed your Genesis/Generations Bees or to create a Generations Egg from shards.
**NOTE:** Training Bees Breeds and Egg creation don’t require a blockchain transaction so they will not need Wax.

**In-game: $0.15** - payable using your Google Pay or Apple Pay account\

* Connect your Solana wallet
* Tap Buy WAX in the upper right corner just below the banner
* Enter the amount of WAX you want to purchase in whole numbers (no decimal)
* Tap Confirm Purchase
* You will receive a confirmation message
* Visit the rewards screen inside Honeyland to claim your WAX

**Your Wax balance will display:**
* At the top of the screen when you combine Egg shards into an Egg
* At the top of the screen when you are Breeding — NOTE: the balance will only show after you have chosen your Bees for Breeding, we plan to change that so you can see the balance before choosing the Bees
* At the top of the screen when you visit the Main Shop
How do I enter a redeem / promo code?
View your profile screen by tapping on your avatar in the upper left corner of the game. Once there, you will see a tab for Code. This is where you will add any special codes that we release. After a code is accepted, visit your Rewards screen to claim the reward.
What is the Lucky Wheel and where can I find it?
The Lucky Wheel allows you to spin to collect your daily rewards. The number of spins you have is determined by your VIP level in the game. Initially, you start with one spin, but as you progress and level up, you can earn up to four spins per day. Each spin grants you shards that are added to your inventory. Shards can be redeemed for game play items.
**How to Access the Lucky Wheel?**
To access the Lucky Wheel, you need to visit your Hive within the game. Click on the Bonus icon in the bottom left corner. From there, you can spin the wheel to receive your daily rewards. Make sure to check in daily to claim your gifts and enhance your gameplay experience.
**REMINDER:** The shards that appear on the Lucky Wheel change so be sure to visit each day!
Additional spins are 50 Zzubs each. You can buy three spins per day.
Your **XP** level determines the wheel level.

How many mints did Honeyland have before the game launched?
Honeyland completed 3 mints prior to the game launch. Each mint provided different assets to be owned and used in Honeyland.
* 5,500 Genesis Eggs were minted on June 2, 2022.
* 2,000 plots of Universe 1 Lands were minted on September 22, 2022.
* 5,500 Generations Eggs, plus 500 Mad Honey Vials were minted on December 21, 2022
What are Mad Honey Vials?
Mad Honey Vials (MHVs) are assets used for experiments in our Mad Honey Lab.
500 MHVs were minted as part of the 6000 Generations collection mint in December, 2022. So far, we have completed two MHV Experiments:
**Mad Honey Experiment #1** let you burn a MHV to max the stats (267) of one Bee per vial. Experiment #1 was open from April 20 to April 27, 2023.
**Mad Honey Experiment #2** let you burn a MHV to change the art of your Bee to a special Bee. The new Bee was designed by one of 8 artists that partnered with Honeyland! Experiment #2 was open from August 19 to August 26, 2023.

How to buy and sell assets on Magic Eden using HXD?

**NOTE:** Sometimes Magic Eden stalls when displaying the available Bees. A workaround is to use the Filters to select "Buy now" which will only show the Bees that are currently listed for sale.
## Buying:
Find a Bee or Queen listed in HXD
Tap on the + sign in the upper right corner

## **Selling:**
On Magic Eden, navigate to the collection for the item you wish to sell, choose your asset, choose list, change the currency from SOL to HXD (see screen shot below)
