# Chapter 1: A Brief History

1000 years ago, the world of Honeyland experienced an event that changed their history. Despite the peaceful rule of Apisara, the Queen Bee, a rebel group of Pests, known as The Contagion, had formed. Believing the Queen was hoarding resources which they deserved, they had grown their ranks in secret and started a mass rebellion.

The Bees were taken by surprise and, with no defenses in place, their only option was to flee. The Queen Bee sought the help of the ancient dragons and they created a device to reset the universe. As The Contagion’s forces spread and grew closer to the capital Hive, the Queen activated the device, splitting the Honeyland Galaxy into different Universes.

The Contagion Forces were left behind in the original Honeyland, and the majority of the Bees ended up in a Universe known as Earth. Finding Earth to be a peaceful world, the Bees quickly settled there and began to thrive. As time passed, The Contagion’s uprising faded from the Bees’ collective memory and they forgot about their old home.

Apisara never forgot though, and she formed a plan to both protect the Bees and prepare them to reclaim their original home. She established new Hive practices and encouraged them to be shared among all the Hives on Earth. With these practices in place, the Bees began to grow stronger and stronger. The Queen watched all of this happening and waited for the right moment to begin their journey home.

The Queen declared the need for Beekeepers to help the Bees continue to grow in number and strength. She sent out her trusted advisors to find the most talented and skilful Beekeepers in the land.

YOU are one of those Beekeepers. Your job is to train and prepare your Hive of Bees until they are strong enough to begin the journey. Help your Bees to Harvest Honey and Hunt for items to provide your Hive with a firm launchpad into unexplored Universes. Can you rise to the challenge and prepare your Bees for their epic adventure? Do you have what it takes?
